Tired But Happy Dive @ Pulau Hantu.....

First Dive of Year 2008!

Tired because I did Four dives instead of the usual two. Happy because saw stuffs despite the low vis of 1.5m and logged my 100th dive! :o)

Thanks Ivan for organising the trip, Jun for informing and Yenny for being my buddy(your 1st local dive and hope that the vis would not deter you from returning to Hantu). :o)

So,so.....what did we see then? Here are the stuffs;

Swimming Crab! In fact, quiet a few of them.

A Icon Sea star with only Four arms!

Here's another Star,

A Beautiful Red Featherstar!

Some fishes like Razorfish(which were moving to fast for me to snap a pic) and this False Scorpionfish(I think so cos the Head is without spines).

Also a Tigertail Seahorse!!!

And,and can you see anything in this pic?

Yes? No? Here's from another angle;

It's a Yellow Pipefish with hairy bits sticking out of its head and body!

First time seeing it in Pulau Hantu! And later on during the dive, I saw another!

Anyone has any idea what kind of Pipefish is this?

There were also Flatworms!

Hee.....and of course, the Nudibranch!!!

The commonly seen Phyllid nudibranch (Phyllidia sp)

A Gymnodoris nudibranch (Gymnodoris sp)

A Tambja nudibranch (Tambja sp) and they seen to be in season.

A smaller (about 5cm) Ceratosoma nudibranch (Ceratosoma gracillimum) as compared to those that I had seen on my previous trips

And yet again, a first sighting's nudibranch for me! This one looks like a Cadlinella ornatissima.

It was about the size of a rice grain (about 5mm)!!!

And that's all for today!:o)

Hi Joe,

you are welcome!:o)

As for the widget cat, you can try to follow the following steps:

1) Click the "Get Widget" tag below the Cat
2) Choose "Add to Blogger"
3) Click "Install Panel"
4) Log into your Blogger Accounts
5) At the "Add Page Element" Window, Select the blog that you want the widget to appear and give it a title(eg the cat's name) and click "Add Widget"
6) The Widget Cat should appear at your blog sidebar

Hope this help! :o)
